International Alliance for Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Schools

On November 5, 2009, ACSSW president, Judith Shine, participated in a US/Canadian invitational meeting in Minneapolis, MN on child and adolescent school mental health. Representatives from U.S. and Canadian government and mental health agencies discussed issues related to child and adolescent mental health: available resources, needed support, collaboration between countries, and “next steps.” ACSSW and NASP (National Association of School Psychologists) were the only pupil service organizations represented from the US.
